We started Christian Education Week with a blizzard and ended the week with a wonderful, warm day cleaning Deer Blvd. leading to Riverside Acres. The students, staff, and parents spent Friday afternoon in the ditches with rubber gloves on the hands and garbage bags in the hands. Twenty large bags were collected along with other items too big for a bag. So, what "treasures" do you find along a busy stretch of a county road...a dead cat, a live cat, dead birds, Hannah Montana pillow, princess knee pad, 1/4 of a dollar bill, golf ball, bouncy ball, baseball, a filled out check, bones, and numerous car parts. It was a fun afternoon ending with an ice cream treat and
WATER at Dairy Queen.
