Grandparents' Chapel at MVCA Today

Grandparents were the honored guests for chapel and lunch today at MVCA.  We had grandparents as far away as Murdo, SD attending.  Thank you to Pastor Jim Tieszen from Hillside Community Church, Vermillion for sharing such a great message.

Fall HIke

The K-2 students took some time today to go for a hike and look for signs of fall.  They shared in a nature hike scavenger hunt and took pictures with iPads of anything interesting.  Some of the neat things they saw were: 2 deer eating under a tree, acorn caps along the trail, funny shaped tree trunks, a few BIG leaves, evidence of a beaver cutting down a tree, and lots and lots and lots of leaves on the ground.  All but one of the pictures below are taken by the students!

Smells Like Apple Pie at MVCA

MVCA's kindergarten students along with the help of two moms were busy making apple pies this morning.  These delicious treats will be delivered to our local police station.  The kindergarten students are saying "Thanks!" for all these brave men and women do for us in our community.

So Thankful for the Rainbow

What a blessing the Rainbow Playsystem has been for the kids and staff.  The students are having great fun and imaginations run wild with new games to play on it.  We are a very blessed school to have such a wonderful playground system.
