A Double Surprise Delivery

There was a double surprise when the lunches were delivered on Tuesday. Last week the kindergarten class was asked by the lunch volunteers if they knew the old childhood song "Six Little Ducks". When the volunteers delivered this week, the K-2 students sang the song to them! The surprise performance turned into another delivery for the students... a pan of DUCK shaped cookies!

Kids Against Hunger

MVCA families took time out of their weekend to package meals for hungry people in Haiti through the Kids Against Hunger ministry. Students decorated the boxes with Bible verses and expressions of kindness. A total of 3,752 meals were packaged and prayed over during the 2 hour service project.
