The 100th Day of School! Hooray!
The kindergarten class based all of their activities today off of the number 100.
We flipped a coin 100 times and used tally marks to record whether it was heads or tails. We counted to 100 with a dot-to-dot, colored number charts to show counting by 10s, 5s, 2s and numbers "more than" 49. We read a 100 word poem and the word 100 in several languages. We also sang a "Today is the 100th Day of School" and memorized part of Psalm 100. The most challenging activity was to be quiet for 100 SECONDS!
